Branding On The Fly or Last Minute Creativity

Yes, I know that no sane person is working this early in the morning, but seeing as I have yet to get any sleep, I might as well get this post out. One of the thing s that I love most about working on a branding campaign is that it allows you to bit a bit more creative at times. Webster's dictionary defines Branding as the promoting of a product or service by identifying it with a particular brand. I have been working on a political campaign (Bridget Montgomery for Judge) in Harrisburg, Pa for the past few months and we are just 2 1/2 hours from the opening of the polls. There is little we can do but to re-enforce her as a brand at this point.
So we decided to use a Segway covered in bumber stickers as our delivery medium. It is different, creative and most certainly will get peoples attention...can we ask for more at this point? By using the existing branding materials in a unique fashion we are able strengthen her brand. It is times like this when you just need to go with an idea and have faith in the work you have put into building the brand.
